This painting depicts Eve in a tender embrace with the snake who offered her the apple from the Tree of Knowledge. This biblical story is often used to portray women as weak and easily seduced. I wanted to reclaim Eve´s bravery, and reframe the story not as a Fall from Grace but as the beginning of awakening itself.
