This body of work explores the divine feminine as a form of sacred power that has been reshaped, sanitized, and fragmented across cultures, yet never erased. Drawing on figures such as Eve, the Virgin Mary, the Black Madonna, and goddesses including Kali, Avalokiteshvara, and the original Black Earth Goddess, the paintings trace a continuum rather than a collection of separate myths.
These figures are approached not as symbols of purity, sin, or idealised femininity, but as embodiments of a deeper, older intelligence that is eternally present and powerful.
